Cindy is single, and sorrowful again. Phina Mugerwa “Masanyalaze” is in an affair and loving again. Their man, Ken Muyisa, has decided he will not be a step-father to Cindy’s kid, but he will be a biological father to his kid.
When singer Cinderella ‘Cindy’ Sanyu ran out of Mario Brunnete’s house and arms and said that the Italian was the problem, many took her side. Months down the road, Mario falls in love with a Karaoke dancer. “From accomplished singer to dance, hahaha!” Cindy laughed. However, as you read this, Mario is enjoying his best drink at his Cayenne Lounge and bar in Bukoto. Reason, Cindy and Kenneth Muyisa’s relationship is no more according to information reaching our desk. Muyisa and Cindy’s affair was a rush and in a space of three months, the two had organized a Kukyala and that was the beginning of the end of their love story. Phina ‘Masanyalaze’ Mugerwa, the mother of Muyisa’s son Santon, is one of the cause of the sweat-bitter breakup but Muyisa’s sister, Patricia Nakibuule and longtime friends also had a hand in it. The entire Muyisa clan ganged up against Cindy and set her packing.
Muyisa’s sister and friends failed Cindy
Before meeting Cindy, Kenny was in a long-distance relationship for five years with the now faded singer Phina Mugerwa Masanyalaze. The result of that affair was a son, Sandton. It is said that Phina played the perfect traditional wife to Muyisa; obedient, submissive, a good cook and one with a ready womb to “operate” anytime. Muyisa’s family and friends called her “our dear wife” and loved her to bits.
As a way to show their loyalty to Phina, they helped her in her time of trouble. They did everything within their power to chase recently-blonde Cindy as far away as a hurricane can carry a wig.
The team was led by Muyisa’s old friends who he used to play soccer with at St. Mary’s College Kitende. They were not happy with the way Cindy controlled their boy and her expenditure was humongous. “Cindy was not good for my blood and I am happy their relationship is over. I don’t know if she had charmed him because the way she used to eat money was crazy. She is simply not responsible,” a U.R.A FC striker and close friend to Muyisa, Augustin Nsumba was overheard telling friends.
Then came Muyisa’s sister Patricia Nakibuule. Muyisa and Nakibuule are inseparable. It is believed that when Muyisa eats bad food, it is Nakibuule who suffers from food poisoning. Such is their bond.
Cindy had no idea about this bond and when she started rubbing Nakibuule the wrong way, she was only rubbing herself out of the life of Muyisa. The relationship between Cindy and Nakibuule got so bad that Cindy has now lost everything.
When Muyisa and Cindy’s love was still bubbling hot, Muyisa, in the tradition of a rich Ugandan based in South Africa, asked Cindy to come up with a budget of a classy bar. He wanted to set up for her one such bar. The documents where to be in Cindy’s names but as we talk, Nakibuule took her place and she runs the recently launched bar, Da Boss in Bunga. Nakibuule cannot even let the name Cindy enter her ears so she turned down any questions about the affair.
Relationship was a rush
Meet today, mate tomorrow. That is what best describes the Cindy-Muyisa affair. For the first four months of the love affair, they were in everyone’s face. They kissed so much in public that we thought their lips would fall off for kissing in public. At the end of those four months, they organized a kukyala. Then, people shelled them. “How fools rush” was encored around them.
Cindy had always wanted to be married, officially. So when she fell on on Muyisa, she simply held him by his hairy legs and dragged him to her parent’s home. In her past life, Mario had failed to put on ring on it. “I asked him to marry me and he kept on dilly-dallying,” said Cindy when the two broke up.
She was not going to let Muyisa slip through her tiny fingers. Muyisa met her parents and promised to marry her. However, as soon as he walked out of Cindy’s parents’ home, he left the relationship there.
“Everything was fast. She never wanted Ken to get some breathing space to listen to advice,” a close friend told The Kampala Sun. It was at that point that the Muyisa clan pounced and finally trounced Cindy out of their lives.
Phina knew it couldn’t last
Cindy managed to fool many, but failed to convince Phina Mugerwa that the relationship would go beyond showbiz. Not even Muyisa was convinced that he had got the real deal. On the day he went to visit Cindy’s parents, he posted, “Mwana support other than discouraging because we are all human beings.” When someone uses “we are all human beings” in a plea, you smell a lost cause.
When The Kampala Sun approached Phina the day Cindy was in South Africa with Muyisa, she was not shaken and was confident she will wear the last smile. When we asked her about the Muyisa Cindy relationship, she simply laughed at us. “I am living a good life, and all will be okay. It is only a matter of time,” she told us. She had known Muyisa for five years, and predicted this. Now she is dancing her Shakira strokes on the grave of the relationship. She recently informed Cindy about it on social media. She told her that marriage is determined by kids, not metals placed on fingers.
