As the football world in the free world gets absorbed into the Barclays Premier League, in the confines of Luzira Prison inmates are back to enjoying their own share of the sweet game after their pitch was revived.
To many of these prisoners, football is the best form of relaxation, and it works well to distract their attention from the rigors of confinement. An aura of revived excitement filled the playground when the facility was re-opened. It was a full cheering house of yellow and orange colours as action unfolded on the pitch which even attracted the attention of a goat prompting it to join the match.
The little animal ran to the pitch, following the ball as prisoners in the stands were cheering it. It was later chased off and the game resumed but it came with luck and Team Yellow scored in the next two minutes.
