Following the recent debacle at Guvnor that saw Johnnie Ahimbisiibwe lose his life, you would expect the Ugandan party animals to have learnt a lesson. Yet, a recent exchange of insults between Gagamel boss, Bebe Cool alias Moses Ssali and an unknown socialite, Lisa Mandy, depicts otherwise. As according to sources at Liquid Silk where the fight almost took place, the two engaged in a verbal war, with both spewing vitriol directed at embarrassing each other. A stance that almost graduated into a fight synonymous to the one that killed Johnnie Ahimbisibwe.
Sources around at the time of the incident intimate to the Kampala Sun that from a distance, it looked like Bebe Cool was acting in a video. Like he was rapping something in Lisa Mandy’s ears in that archetypal Gagamel boisterousness till they saw him pour a drink in her face.
“She probably said something that infuriated him that fast. It didn’t look like much talk. But both faces were strained, lines of infuriation cut across their foreheads and whatever they were saying to each other clearly had to birth trouble. Except it didn’t. As after Bebe Cool shoved the contents in the glass he was holding in Lisa’s face, he walked away to leave a feeble Lisa to the accompaniment of her onlooking girls and a certain cissy guy” said our source.
In retaliation, Lisa Mandy ran to her Facebook wall to try and demystify the cause of the debacle. She alleged that it was because Bebe Cool expected her to support him during his Mama Awards nomination yet unlike his legion of fans, she didn’t.
“Bebe Cool came and confronted me that I betrayed him when I congratulated Eddy Kenzo upon winning the B.E.T award” Lisa Mandy’s Facebook post read in part.
Whether that is true or not is hard to tell. But a casual cyber prowl by the Kampala Sun has revealed that Bebe Cool has summoned his minions to secretly plan a demonstration on Facebook (since twitter limits them to 140 characters yet an archetypal Gagamel fan can’t even type the words “OKAY” in those characters) against Mark Zukerbag’s failure to remove all posts that are against Bebe Cool.
One of such darts thrown at taking over Facebook started with his family when Zuena Kirema posted, albeit in proper grammar, why she thought his husband left him tending to the kids to go and pick fights in bars. Sources close to the family intimate it could be because of excitement because of the money he got from the concert. Albeit her Facebook post says otherwise.
