When NTV’s MC Kats recently came out publicly to shame his indebtors, many wondered why he was spewing vitriol towards his once good friends ‘the Rich gang’. He, through a Facebook post, accused them of failing to pay him for his efforts towards their rise to fame. He talked like a priest. Like he didn’t have any debts to his name.
News reaching the Kampala Sun however dictates otherwise. According to a source at a local Videography company, Kats’s running to all his old debtors for a pay cheque is because of a huge debt that is slowly eating up things in his mo-hawked head, among them, English grammar.
The Kampala Sun has exclusively learnt that the NTV Xpozed show host is indebted to Hassan Bahemuka, a video producer from Hasz Media. Our sources relay that Hassan was not paid for a video he shot for Kats’s fiancée, Fille.
“I shot a video for the song “Olle” and he was supposed to pay 900k for my work but after I delivered, he started playing hide and seek. He tossed me from left to right and center like a ball until I gave up on him. He claims to have money yet he’s broke” Hassan told us.
“My business has suffered a setback because of the losses Kats and other musicians have made me incur, I won’t disclose them all but just know I owe many” he added.
