A scuffle that ruffled the feathers of many modelling agencies across Uganda arose over the weekend following the sudden firing of Crystal Models agency male model; Lucas Paul Ochaka a.k.a Lucas Stannar Runway. His sudden firing incited a number of arguments from modelling agency managers, most of whom were accusing his former manager Ronnie Nsubuga for wrongfully firing the model.
When the Kampala Sun however got in touch with the manager, he relayed that it was a safe remedy for the modelling agency to distance itself from the model considering his presence there was a trouble time-bomb.
“He breached Act 5 of his contract which says that a model shouldn’t contract business without the permission and consent of the agency. Furthermore, we got many complaints from budding female models about how he asked money from them in promise of photo-shoots. Many of these girls complained that he asked them for sex for the exchange of getting them gigs. All of this would soon cause unnecessary law suits that would taint our agency” Nsubuga claimed.
