UK based Pearl Chat TV has signed popular DJ, Andy Skillz (Andy Mumamya) on its ranks. The Kololo Gardens based DJ, who was once reported broke after falling out with his bosses at Kabalagala based Cyclone club last year has a new lease of life.
The Kampala Sun understands that a crew from Pearl Chat TV, the most viewed TV’s with Ugandan content in the UK is in town to search for fresh talent and also shoot interviews with musicians, celebrities and other prominent people. Led by Ronnie Music, they have already conducted one-on-one full interviews with among other celebrities, Grace Nakimera and Mesach Semakula.
“We are here for one month and will search for young talent, Politicians for interviews as well touring nightclubs for more interviews. We have signed DJ Andy Skillz to spot the right talent and personalities who can boost and positively impact Uganda’s image in the United Kingdom,” Ronnie Music revealed.
He further reveals that they look to set up offices in Kampala so as to streamline their operations.
A Mr-fix-it of sorts, DJ Andy Skillz boasts a wealth of experience. Two months ago it was revealed that he had partnered with the Late Vice President Samson Kisekka’s Son, a one DJ Johnny with intentions of opening a high-end night club in Kampala to rival Guvnor and Silk Liquid.
