Pundonor magazine producer Marcelo Cello Marcel will strike anyone as macho, but inside him is a very vibrant femininity. When thugs attacked him and made away with his phone, his retaliation was astounding. He cried like a broke hearted woman for weeks. He kept telling everyone around him and those who spared a minute to listen that he had fallen in love with the stolen phone.
When we bumped into him at Diners Lounge recently, he was short of breaking down in tears when he narrated the scenes that led to the theft of his phone.
I am not going to buy any smartphone again in the near future. I am so hurt. I loved my phone , My friend in the USA had just sent it to me. I will use this ka-torch for a long time (referring to a nokia phone with a torch)” and he couldn’t finish his story. If you must know, we hugged him and told him that there are better things in life than a phone. Take for instance, the thought of the things he and his beautiful presenter Argatha Loswash (who should decide early enough which accent she wants to use) would do if left alone! We only hope his USA friend sends him another phone.
