GMG studios on fire
Just when we thought Gifted Music Group C.E.O, Paul Owor was already out of his pockets, the young entrepreneur has disproved us. After signing artists like Ray Heavens, Akongo Sings and prominent ones like Sheena Skies, he has gone on another hunting spree.
News filtering in from the Naalya based studio has it that the presently signed artistes are on pressure after their C.E.O recently announced how he is going to introduce a new breed of musicians.
“They had taken up a habit of relaxing, spending a lot of time outside the studio compound working out as opposed to recording music. The news, somehow reached the boss and he was furious. He threatened to fire everyone who is not living up to their billing, even his cousin brother Ray Heavens is starting to take things seriously now,” relayed a source there.
This threat follows a series of leaps by the studio to produce international material after the Soda hit singer, Sheena Skies recorded a song with Kenyan rapper, Octopizzo. We only hope they keep the hit they’ve subjected the Ugandan Musical Industry to.
