A scuffle that arose at a local Hotel earlier this morning was the source of a loud noise that distracted work in the Kampala City Center. This, because a Congolese man only identified as Aron was being arrested by Police.
According to sources, Aron was a Congolese business man dealing in Gold.
“He was smuggling Gold in Uganda and selling it to Kampala and other parts of East Africa. Unbeknownst to him, Interpol was tracking him. They traced and arrested him from the comfort of his Hotel room. He had just taken a shower so they waited for him to change from his bathrobe to his trademark bespoke suits,” relayed a source.
Rumor also has it that Aron is the mastermind of a chain of Gold smuggling bandits in East Africa. He orchestrates the deals on the boarders of these countries and the coast before handling the clientele himself.
Eye witness say he was whisked off to a yet-to-be established location in Kampala. Although rumor abounds that he might be flown out of the country to be tried in the courts of law in Congo where his crimes have had the hardest impact.
Details about the story will be published as and when they unfold.
