Luwero Utd walloped Free Stars FC 2-1 in the Buganda Regional League in Luwero grounds on Saturday evening.
Free Stars came into the game having drawn with Mulendwe FC before it was disqualified from the league due to forgery of licenses.
But the Mukono based side has never won Luwero Utd on their ground in Luwero.
The visitors started strong in the first fifteen minutes of the game but they failed to capitalize on the host’s weakness to convert the chances into goals.
The hosts gained momentum after and took control of the ball possession until the visitors couldn’t handle the pressure.
David Wasswas own goal put the home team in the lead just in the 40th minute to take us in the break with Luwero leading 1-0.
One minute past the second half, Isaac Balyejusa doubled the tally to make it 2-0 for the home team to secure the win at a moment.
But the visitors did not sit back, they continued making continuous attacks until mark Okello pulled one in the 69 minutes.
If their strikers were clinical enough, they would have equalized the game because they created many chances.
The goal scorer missed a free header only to nod over the bar denying his team a chance to go home with a point.
