Victoria University host Second Leavers Plug In

In a bid to open up the university to the general public, Victoria University recently hosted the second leavers plug in for Senior four and Senior six leavers at the university. The leavers plug in is a program designed by Success Africa to thoroughly equip participants with ‘street-smart’ tools and skills preparing them to effectively transition from a student mindset to a creative, problem solving and value adding young adult, ready to step into the world with enthusiasm, hope and a clear purpose.
The event attracted hundreds of senior six vacists and the general public interested in growing skills Public Speaking, Life Planning and Career Options, Business and Etiquette and The Art of Networking and Financial Management.
Joseph Nyakaana, the acting vice chancellor Victoria University says the leavers plug in is vital as the world is evolving and there is so much that a young adult needs to prepare for in order to be well equipped to lead and excel.
The event which ran for three days from 30th January 2017 to 3rd February 2017 at Victoria University-Kampala had the main speaker in Ethan Musolini, the CEO of Success Africa.
A regular speaker at the Victoria University Career days, Musolini is a success coach, motivational speaker, a renowned Human Resource Consultant, and Author of many motivational books. He possesses a wealth of Personal Development experience which he has gathered over the years while consulting.
Other Speakers at the event included Samuel Bakutana, a leadership consultant, Inspirational speaker and personal development author.
Also on the list was Eugenia Criss whose goal as a transformational Leader is to be known for being personally vested in the human potential. She believes that Transformational Leadership is not about a title or designation. It is about impact, influence, and inspiration.
Others were Ken Kimuli popularly known as Pablo, Lawrence Namale: Lawrence is a Life Coach, Author and Motivational Speaker who strives to deliver messages of hope, direction, and purpose for individual lives across the globe and Anita Katiti Zikusokawho has over 40 years work experience with 25 years’ experience in Human Resource Development. She’s passionate and has worked with the youth in the area of Personal Development for 10 years.
