New faces have emerged on the Uganda Cranes’ team that will play the Eastern region select side this Sunday.
In absence of Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin Srerodjevic, assistant coach, Moses Basena read the names of 23 players to the media during the press conference held on Wednesday at Mengo.
Three Big League players have been named on the team that will train for two days – Friday and Saturday.
The summoned team will travel to Kamuli for a regional tour match on Sunday. The inclusion of Bright Star’s Nicholas Sebwato who the club after leaving SC Villa Jogoo, excited his coach, Fred Kajoba.
‘We are happy to see him in the Cranes squad. He has done a good job for the club especially guiding our young central defenders during training and matches’ said Fred Kajoba-head coach at Bright Stars FC.
Sebwato will compete with two other goalkeepers Saidi Keni of Proline FC and Muhammad Ssekebba of Mbarara City.
