Just when you thought it was well and truly over for Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, along comes Prison Break: Resurrection.
And it looks like the popular show isn’t the only thing coming back from the dead. Resurrection sees Fox take the series back to its original roots with the brothers reuniting behind bars.
Pirated copies have already found their way on Kampala streets and Ugandans are enthusiastic about it. It is brisk business, according to Kim Lule a dealer on Zai Plaza. “The demand is so high. I make sales of up to sh100, 000 daily on just that one episode,” he reveals.
The nine-part series is set eight years after Michael Scofield faked his own death in Prison Break: The Final Break. Prison Break: Resurrection started on Fox US last Tuesday, April 4 but in Uganda, pirated copies are already being supplied.
The first episode starts with a voice over from Michael: “Freedom has a price.” “But the dead talk… if you listen.”
Episode one starts where it all began – Fox River. It’s the present day and T-Bag is getting released.
He receives an envelope with some information revealing Micheal is still alive. Armed with this revaluation T-Bag pays a visit to Lincoln.
After Lincoln learns Michael is still alive he starts doing some digging.
Where is he?
What has he being doing all these years?
Lincoln’s investigations lead him to learn Michael is in Ogygia, a prison in Yemen. . .

After faking his own death Michael finds himself in a prison in Yemen.
The country is imploding around him and Michael has a new identity and a questionable alliance to a known terrorist.
• T-Bag played by Robert Knepper
The long-time nemesis of Michael and Lincoln, T-Bag finds himself back in their orbit when he receives an envelope from a mysterious sender.
But can he be trusted to help the brothers?
• Lincoln Burrows played by Dominic Purcell
After finding out Michael is still alive Dominic has one mission. To go to Yemen and break his brother out of prison.
• Sara Tancredi played by Sarah Wayne Callies
Michael’s former wife Sara has started a new life for herself. She is married to a man called Jacob who is helping her raise Little Mike aka Micheal Scofield Jr.
But when Lincoln comes to visit Sara and tells her Michael is still alive she finds herself thrust back into the dark and dangerous underworld.

Michael’s former Fox River cellmate Sucre has no choice but to help out his old friends to secure Michael’s freedom.
