You cannot blame Bobi Wine for being over confident. There has been an upsurge in the support he has garnered ahead of the Kyadondo East by-election slot long before nominations. He’s so popular, suggestions are that he begins addressing himself as “honourable”
At Judith Babirye’s concert on Friday, Bobi Wine sent revelers squealing with delight when he said; “I see myself in parliament.”
The campaigns are yet to kick off, but the self proclaimed, Ghetto president has started conjuring images of himself arguing things about weed, dingy suburbs and his wife’s welfare.
Bobi Wine has morphed from his bad boy persona to a more sober person. He now positions himself next to influential politicians rather than his old music friends.
The musician has also changed his dress code. He looked dapper in a floral blazer, completing his look with a black shirt and pants of matching color.
He was flanked by his wife, Barbie Itungo. The two were a happy couple as ever, keeping large smiles and posing for the papparazi.
Minutes after his arrival at the Kampala Serena Hotel, Bobi shared pictures on his Facebook account accompanied with the caption: “My wife and I have step out. We are here at Judith Babirye’s show”
The thread has since gathered over 400 comments. Bobi is with no doubt one of the most prominent people on the internet. He boosts over 4million followers on Facebook.
If his social media weight is to be considered by the electoral commission, he is in parliament already. He has been receiving pretty impressive words on the internet with many pledging to rally behind him.
