Singer Jose Chameleone is in a buoyant mood ahead of his ‘Hit after Hit’ concert next weekend. This comes after his concert received a sh100m boost from flagship sponsor Bell Lager.
The announcement was made during the singer’s press briefing held on Wednesday afternoon at Uganda Breweries Offices, Rooftop bar.
Speaking at the briefing, Juliana Kaggwa, the Marketing manager UBL expressed how proud they are to associate with and host Chameleone at their premises.
“Uganda breweries through the brand Bell has for the past two decades or so supported Ugandan music,” she noted.
“Today for the first time in, let’s call it a decade, we’re proud to host the legend at the rooftop,” Juliana said.
Speaking to the press, Jose Chameleone thanked UBL for the boss, urging the company not to stop at him but bankroll other artists too.
“Please don’t stop at me, support other artists too,” he suggested,
The singer also promised not only a thrilling experience, but the best of his showcase ever.
“I’ve always been walking and running, this time I want to fly,” Chameleone said.
During the presser,the singer was first to say how nervous he is a head of his June 3oth Hit After Hit concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
‘The years i have sung,i have never been as nervous as i am with days to my life time concert’ he said during the presser.
However,the World should come and witness a historic show that its preparations started last year when i took a break.
‘God has tailored a suit for me and so you should ask yourselves why he chose me over the many artists in Uganda’.
