As football fans around the country wait with bated breath about the negotiations between FUFA and Cranes Coach Micho Srerodjevic, news coming in indicates that it is unlikely he will stay.
This was after a deadlock between FUFA’s CEO Edgar Watson and Micho’s agent. It was then that revelations came out that coach Micho had found another team and was already out of the country in Ethiopia.
Micho, we have exclusively learnt will be unveiled at South African club Orlando Pirates on Tuesday and plans are already underway to have him watch the Soweto derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs this weekend.
According to south African websites, www.timeslive.co.za and www.soccerladuma.co.za, Micho held final closed door meetings to patch up the finer details in his contract.
As part of the negotiations, we have also learnt that Cranes defender Murshid Juuko is likely to join Orlando Pirates alongside Micho. In the coach’s expectation, Juuko would patch up the defensive holes in the Orlando Pirates team that finished a distant 11th last season. They also lost the Nedbank Cup to SuperSport United by 4-1.
Murshid Juuko, presently with Tanzanian giants Simba is expected to fly to South Africa over the weekend, it was revealed. Micho once coached Orlando in 2006 and will replace the underperforming Kjell Jonevret.
