Back to his forte, DJ Bush baby through their online visual entertainment portal, VUQA unveiled an exclusive special investigative five part docu-series about the Uganda Performing Rights Society (UPRS) last week.
According to Bush baby who is behind the project, there is a lot of negativity towards the organisation and everybody thinks its fleecing the entertainment industry yet they are actually supposed to collect royalties on behalf of the artistes.
“We did an intriguing private probe and discovered they are doing something good for the industry. So it’s a sort of awareness even the UPRS don’t know we are doing it. They have an amazing constitution and if Ugandan artistes are clever, they would sign up to the association because they stand to benefit,” he reveals.
