UAP Old Mutual Insurance obtains the ACCA Gold Award

UAP Old Mutual Insurance has been honoured with the ACCA Approved Employer Trainee Development Gold award.
The Nakawa based insurance company was recognized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants a global body for professional accountants with 428,000 trainees and 162,000 qualified members in 170 countries.

According to ACCA Global, for an organization to attain this award, a comprehensive assessment matrix is done including the given employer being able to meet a number of best practice statements relating to the support they provide ACCA trainees and members in the workplace and be able to provide supporting documentation to verify meeting the appropriate standard as a must.

This award comes at a time after the Old Mutual group, UAP Old Mutual group and UAP Old Mutual Uganda were recently honoured with the top employer 2017 award by the Top Employers Institute a global organisation based in Amsterdam that has been recognizing excellence amongst employers for over 25 years.
