Dancing group, Triplets Ghetto Kids (TGK) continue to be lucky. Many good things have been following nonstop since they featured in Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss track which catapulted them to global spotlight. On Sunday night, the kids were announced winners at the Afrimma Awards as the best dancing group 2017.
In their acceptance speech, Patricia Nabakooza who spoke on behalf of the rest said: “We never thought we’d win such an international award”
The overly excited kids also delivered a fantastic performance causing a rapture of applause at the occasion in Dallas.
Earlier this year, they also secured a Uganda Entertainment accolade as the best dance group. They have in the recent days been between countries travelling with American star, French Montana who signed them to accompany him for his European tour.
Montana was also kind to perform with the kids at the BET awards few months ago.
The kids’ recent success has caused a comparison between them and their music papa, Eddy Kenzo. There are people who say the kids are now more relevant on the market than the Sitya Loss singer.
Despite the comparisons, Kenzo remains a supportive figure to the kids. He is always quick to congratulate them for every milestone they achieve.
