Mbarara City FC Vialli Bainomugisha stepped in after the departure of Richard Makumbi at the start of the 2017/18 season reign came to an end over the weekend following his failure to impress the club owners.
Club C. E. O Fred Mugaru has confirmed the termination of Bainomugisha’s contract following his failure to perform as expected.
“Vialli Bainomugisha was tasked to steer the club to a top place finish in this year’s league and by the look of things, results are not coming his way and we cannot look on as we sink deeper.”
“A meeting of stake holders of the club sat and resolved to sack Bainomugisha” noted Mugaru
Mbarara City have only managed 2 wins in 10 games, drawing 4 and losing 4 games. They managed to score 4 and conceded 8.
