Reggae lovers in the country will this Saturday get a chance to see live the face behind hits like; Clean Up, Cold Feet, Hello Mama Africa, Nah Go Hide, Our Father, Stranger and Wicked People plus so much more at the Reggae Fest Jam 2018. Anthony B, the name behind the vast recordings touching lives world wide received a VIP ‘Nile Special’ arrival at Entebbe International airport yesterday.
Clad in a black T-shirt baring a golden lion, the Jamaican artist addressed the press. “Its an honour being in Uganda. And I am thankful for the reception I have received,” a more reserved Anthony said, adding. He loves seeing people touched by music mostly inspiring and teaching peace and love. In attendance was Bebe Cool, Raga Dee, Butcherman (waving Jamaican flag) and a number of Rastafarian.
“When is was growing up, I wanted to be like Bob Marley, Anthony B and the likes in that category but when I heard that he was coming to Uganda, it was more of a dream. Later on I was approached by the organizers and now he is here. This is big and thank you the organizers for putting up this big show and I will be honoured to perform on the same stage with him,” Bebe Cool appreciated the work done by Nile Special. A number of artists will curtain rise for the Jamaica international as confirmed by Paul Nyende, Nile Special brand manager who mentioned Bebe Cool, Pallaso, Iryn Ntale and many others.
