Chelsea Captain John Terry has indicated that Petr Cech will save Arsenal up to 15 points a season. The Czech goalkeeper is said to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal with the respective clubs yet to iron out the transfer fees.
By that reckoning Arsenal would have won the Premier League title last season with 90 points, beating Chelsea’s tally of 87.
Terry is currently meeting fans in China as part of his JT Captain China Tour to promote football culture in the East.
If Arsenal had added an extra 15 points to their Premier League total, as Terry has stated Arsenal could do with Cech at the goalkeeping helm, Arsenal would also have also won the 2013/14 title, finishing first with 94 points, as opposed to fourth with 79 points, blowing champions City’s 86 out the water.
