Radio and Weasel’s video shoot for the song ‘Omwana Wabandi’ grinded to a halt yesterday, Sunday evening when the duo was blocked from accessing one of the scenes they had planned to use. Word reaching The Kampala Sun has it that the Gudlyf singers and their entourage were asked to vacate a scene in Kabusu citing unlawful usage of the place. The owner of the place reported the singers to Police for shooting a video in his land without his consent and in the process, inconveniencing the owner and neighbor due to their misconduct.

“The owner of the land, an Indian called the Police to intervene. This was after he’d personally tried to talk to them but failed” said a source

Negotiations to pay and continue with their shoot yielded no fruits.

The singers accepted to leave and continue the video shoot today. They left muttering a few f words and curses to themselves. They adhered to what the Police had asked them to do and together (with the Police) they packed their camera’s and costumes and left the place.
