For the early part of 2017, Radio and Weasel had remained rather quiet with new music.
Just when the detractors had prepared their armour to write an epitaph, it appears their drought is about to end though, as late last night, word filtered that they bagged a collabo with Snoop Dogg.
It’s unclear where the song will end up or when it will come out, but from the short snippet, it’s sounding pretty crazy with the American rap star likely to lend his art to their song, “plenty plenty”
It is said that the American rap star fell in love with their “Plenty plenty” song and decided to join in.
“We are too honoured to work with the greatest (Snoop Dogg). We are just speechless; we grew up listening to his vibes and the first time we were nominated in the BET: Best International African Act we were blessed and honoured to see him performing live at the awards,” they said.
“The song is all about love and sharing that little thing you have so as to make a better life and change the current state of your life,” added Radio.
Radio and Weasel, who had earlier shot their video in Johannesburg, South Africa, are now planning on another video for the remix with Snoop Dogg which will be shot in, (well, we can accept anything they say at this time) Hollywood. Beat that!
