Last year, the International University Of East Africa (IUEA) officially turned five years with a fine crowing, the Kansanga based university shall forever live to celebrate.
When judges announced the eventual winners for Mr and Mrs IUEA, the crowd was in acceptance when Uganda’s own Barlow Alice Namutebi a student of Bachelors of Business Administration and Zambia’s Milton Mwila a student of Engineering were crowned Miss and Mr IUEA respectively.
The two stood out as favourites for the 2016/17 university’s faces from a pool of 30 contestants, both male and female, at a fanfare event that took place at the school’s campus in Kansanga .
Through various activities, all contestants were tasked to impress and prove they are worth being faces of the institute. Fashion, as it is the norm for such contests, was at the fore-front.
However this year, the organizers promise bigger and better as more emphasis will be put on the candidates/aspirants who will represent them fully to the Miss University global and continental pageants
