The writing was on the wall. With each passing way, the bickering became intense and egos blew out of proportion.
When Dream studio proprietor, Singer, songwriter, sound engineer and producer Eddy Yawe, who is also an elder brother of musician Bobi Wine quit Afrigo Band, not many were surprised.
Sources reveal that Yawe has been in bad terms with most of his bandmates including Band leaders. Accordingly, it is alleged that he has been having wrangles and conflicts following the massive success of his love ballad dubbed ‘Tukiggale’ featuring Carol Nantongo.
The song that has nearly become people’s word of mouth has provoked Eddy Yawe to work alone because of the pressure from his fans. Similarly, he wants also to go and perform this single always but fails to do as a way of observing and respecting the Band’s code of conduct.
When the band management sat down with Eddy Yawe to revive unity and put across the possible means, this did not work out but instead broadened the gap that left Eddy Yawe with no option apart from quitting for good even though he claims they are always going to stay his friends.
