Singer Kyansuti embarks on recording world’s longest song

Sylvia Kyansuti, who shot to fame after Okusunasuna, her 2002 duet with Bebe Cool, returns to break the Guiness Book Of Records.

The Kira FM presenter together with a team of three( Sylvia Kyansuti (Artiste & Businesswoman), Mukhembo Phillip Muniafu (Kampala Advocate), Kakule Fred Mukasa (Businessman) and Joel Vvubya (Journalist) have embarked on the ‘World’s Longest Song campaign.

This project is being undertaken by Ugandan Musicians,Producers and other stakeholders to come up with the longest song to enter the Guiness Book of records and should stand the test of time as a point of reference and beacon of hope to the human race ‘ she said after handing over the project proposal to the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga at her office.

We also intend to re-energise the future generation especially the youths by the way of constructive music which is purely informative yet entertaining and acting as a point of reference at a future reference at a future date she added.

The World Longest Song Limited is a registered in and under the laws of Uganda and has taken up the challenge to make that song which will be five (5) hours long.
