Painfully gorgeous Quiin Abenakyo a.k.a Quinn Abe was crowned Miss Uganda 2018 at the pageant’s Grand Finale held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala on Friday evening (August 10th 2018).
The 22-year-old hails from Mayuge District beat 22 other finalists from all corners of the country to take the crown and for once in many years, the feeling was mutual. – She deserved it.

Abenakyo, a Business Computing student at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) was followed by Tyra Margach and Aheebwa Patience Martha were the first and second runners-up respectively.

Abenakyo takes over from Leah Kagasa (Miss Uganda 2016), who had the crown for 2 years as the pageant was not held in 2017.
The colourful event, which featured cross-border socialite Zari Hassan as a guest judge, was organized by Talent Africa and Kezzi Entertainment.
On top of winning the crown, she also won a Toyota Wish car (UBD series). Quinn Abe and the top two runners-up, Ahebwa Patience Martha and Trya Margach will go to the Netherlands, have a treat at Pineapple Bay in Bulago Islands and a one year gym session at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
That is not all, the three have also won themselves scholarships at the Uganda Aviation School that will include, among others cabin crew training, customer care for airlines, aviation security and of course ticketing.
Sandra Khan and Nanziri Elizabeth were the other two of the top five finalists at the Miss Uganda 2018-2019 beauty contest.
Top judge and patron, Zari Hassan, said that the beautiful ladies had to go through a series of competitions to get to the finalists, so if your preferred choice does not make it, they should give it a shot next time.
