Little Hands Go Green plant trees in 10 schools

On Monday, Uganda Little Hands Go Green together with Harris International under their flagship brand Riham visited more than 10 schools in Luwero, Matugga and Kawanda.

St Kizito Naluvule wasa added to the schools that are deemed GreenZones.

The visit was part of the ongoing greening campaign that was launched by Little Hands Go Green championed by the Founder Joseph Masembe. The campaign started at St Catherine Primary School in Kawanda after a flagoff at Riham Offices in Kawempe. While at St Catherine, number of fruit trees were planted and a green zone was placed at the school compound.

The team then proceeded to St Marcelino Academy in Matugga where the trees were planted and a green zone created as well. The campaign then proceeded to Luwero were schools like Kasaala Primary School, Kasaaala C/U School, Ndejje Junior School, Nalinya Primary School and Naluvule Primary School.
Over 100 fruit trees were planted during the campaign which attracted NEMA and RIham

At the end of the program, over 1000 trees were planted at these primary school by the help of the pupils at the school.
According to Uganda Little Hands Go Green Mr Joseph Masembe, the campaign is meant to make Uganda Green and this can only be done by planting as many trees as possible. “I thank Riham for being part of the good cause of moving us with to promote and support the Greening campaing” Masembe said.
