MIchael Ross was bounced at the Ginuwine show on Saturday

Ugandans on Social Media could easily be the pettiest, most humorous people on earth. And over the weekend, struggling musical artiste Michael Ross (Michael Kakooza) was the victim of their satirical wrath. It started at the press conference when a journalist suggested to GinuWine that he should do something with Uganda’s version of him (Ginu Wine.) The American RnB super star was elated. After the press conference, the two struck rapport. Michael Ross promised to show him some break dancing moves. It looked like his dreams were going to come back. He was finally going to make a comeback. At the Ginu Wine Concert last week at Speke Resort Munyonyo, he shared several moments of bliss with the star back stage, right before his main performance. This could have been what prompted Michael Ross to jump onto stage from the crowd side, perhaps to steal him a few minutes of fame. He’d just started shaking like a caterpillar having an orgasm, in the name of break dancing, when bouncers whisked him off stage like a leaf. The video of this happening of course went viral. Jokes and memes were crafted. He even trended on twitter as a hash tag. Sects of the media of course accused Ginu. He died in a movie so grand. Yet he resurrected when Ginu Wine apologized. “It looked like I was laughing, but I wish he’d told me before. The bouncers were probably just doing their job. But I am glad they didn’t rough him and hurt him. I hope to do something with him, sorry about what happened,” relayed Ginu Wine in a video. This however wasn’t enough to save Michael Ross, as immediately after that, the Michael Ross challenge started.

  1. Comment:Naye bana Ugandan temusasira. Mwakoze nadda ka challenge??? I mean…… The video was funny and all that. But the whole situation itself was just embarrassing and unfortunate. Funny thing is that if it was a female fan jumping on stage to hug Ginuwine or something, the bouncers wouldn’t have touched her.
