Miss Uganda Quinn Abenakyo is a trend setter. Thanks to her, Uganda has made it to the Miss World finals for the first time.
Abenakyo beat Miss Argentina to get a place in the final top 30 for Miss World 2018.
She was eloquent and passionate as she talked about her Beauty with a Purpose project fighting teenage pregnancies Uganda. She wowed all the three judges who voted for her.
“Well done Uganda. You are doing it,” one of the judges said after Ms Abenakyo’s presentation.
The 22-year-old struggled to contain the emotions. “This is the very first time Uganda is making it to top 30. I am very humbled,’ she said.
The 68th edition of Miss World is taking place in Sanya, China on Saturday .
