Former hip-hop music promoter and artiste manager Shadrack Kuteesa who has since disassociated himself with the entertainment industry after getting saved a few years ago has said it is the devil’s territory.
Shadrack revealed that while in the industry, he was meant to believe life was about drugs and he was using them for eight years after starting with weed then progressing to cocaine.
“The devil will make you think life is about drugs. I got engaged in drugs for over eight years. It started with weed smoking and then before you know it, the night life comes in, you are partying hard and then cocaine comes in and you are just doing it for fun,” he explains.
He notes that the world thinks drugs are what fun is about until the body starts reacting, the abuser gets addicted and then are dependant. And there is no addict who wants to be an addict.
“Me I got to a point when I was like no, no, this is enough. I had lost friends who overdosed but because God was with me, I got off. Many people that use drugs, say 90% end up in rehabilitation centre but I overcame without rehabilitation,” he
