Like some entertainment commentator predicted late last year that we will see DJs trying their hands at music this year, looks like it has some truth to it. Dancehall singer Apass has hinted he is currently in studio recording music with Ben Kuyoh popularly, known as DJ Beekay. He took to Twitter to share the news noting that it is something they hard in mind for 4 years.
“It’s been 4 years in the making but this year we are doing it, thedjbk and I have a banger that will cross over the borders and I have not recorded it yet. #JustWatch,” he tweeted.
This will not be the first time DJs have worked with mainstream artistes to record music. DJ Shiru has done it for a long time as collaborated with close to half of the entire music industry, including the likes of Jose Chameleone, Navio, Jackie Chandiru, Irene Ntale among others. Lately DJ duo Slick Stuart and Roja also have their hands on the craft, first recording with King Saha, a song titled “Very Well” that has been recovered very well to their late titled more of this with singer Rema Namakula.
