Police have resumed the hunt for Moses Kitooke who fled in 2017 after being discovered to be spreading homosexuality.
This comes after a family of one of his victims in conjunction with Kitooke’s family staked sh 37 million ($10,000) for anyone with information leading to his arrest.
Moses Kitooke who is a known homosexual is said to have lured many victims but the family of a one Jimmy Jjuuko, a royal in the Buganda Kingdom want him brought to face the law. Once arrested and found guilty, he faces death.

In 2014, President Yoweri Museveni signed into law a bill toughening penalties for gay people but without a clause criminalising those who do not report them. It includes life sentences and death for gay sex and same-sex marriage.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire, the offences were committed in 2017 and general case was opened at Kasangati Police station.

However, the file went miraculously went missing prompting the family of the victim, a one Jimmy Jjuuko to seek help with the higher police authorities and put a reward for whoever finds Kitooke.
“We are still tracing for the old file as the hunt for Kitooke goes on. Upon his arrest, a new file will be opened,” he said.
Moses Kitooke is said to be hiding since he committed the offences. There is a suspicion he could have fled out of the country to more gay-tolerant countries.

Moses Kitooke is a renown gay who was suspected to be poisoned by his family members for bringing them to shame.
Luke Owoyesigire asked the public to be vigilant; apprehend him on sight and hand him over to police for subsequent charges.
