Singer Maurice Kirya has weighed in on Mowzey Radio’s demise noting that it was a deep loss to the music industry, the reason it echoed everywhere.
However, he says he remembers feeling very angry wondering where Radio’s friends could have been. He accuses them of not trying to criticize and advise Radio.
“I remember feeling very angry and it was from the angle of where are his friends? You know in the industry where we have yes men and everyone is telling you yes, let us do it, you need people who will tell you the truth. Remind you when you are faulting,” he explains.
Kirya adds that they only met a few times but wishes they were friends so he would tell his how much power he had and so didn’t need to fight.
“I didn’t know him well, we only met a couple of times and so I don’t get the full rights to talk about him. But from my opinion I wished I was his friend. I would have told him, you have so much power, you don’t even need to fight it. You are a great musician, great vocalist who ever existed. I feel like there was a conflict between him and himself,” he adds.
