Sensational songwriter Zulanda, formerly of Swangz Avenue has opened on how singer Irene Ntale earned her star in the music industry.

It turns out it was a mere stroke of luck when singer Sera passed away that a song that was meant for her titled “Nkubukinze” went to singer Irene Ntale who did justice to it and got instant recognition.

He says Irene is a talented artiste and they started out rough together but is now doing well alone. Zulanda left Swangz a year after Ntale but unlike Irene, he says he didn’t have a contract with them but a gentleman’s agreement.

Zulanda has written a number of hit songs from Irene’s Stay with me, Ono Omwana, He go down, Stamina daddy, Omutima gwesibye to Embeera by Winnie Nwagi, Kuma Obudde by Lillan Mbabazi, Hanson Baliruno’s Titanic.
