When singer Dr. Jose Chameleone showed interests in aspiring for Kampala Mayoral seat come 2021, many people have since then come up with different opinions about his take and decision. And latest has been presidential senior advisor Tamale Mirundi who criticized the singer’s direction pursued.
During a gossip show on one of the local TV station in Kampala, the highly followed Tamale Mirundi hurriedly gave his opinion about Chameleone’s engagement into Ugandan politics. “Chameleone’s bid is money making project. He is engaging in politics for money. And is another of Balaama’s puppet”, he said. Adding that there are three variables that confuse people namely: I am going to contest, I am contesting and am on a ballot paper. Tamale observed that the three disorganizes the lame man’s understanding but what is crucial is one’s face appearing on ballot papers.
However Chameleone is using the ‘ I am going to contest’ slogan to draw plans of milking money from the government the way Bebe cool is doing under his silent majority slogan. He further emphasized that no musician will have an impact comparable to Bobi Wine’s when it comes to our political circuit.
