For the first time, Jinja derby produced a winner on Wednesday in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at a fully packed FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Bul FC’s Richard Wandyaka header was the difference following five consecutive draws as Kirinya JSS fans and players left the venue with a number of uncertain claims.
After losing the battle of bragging rights, fans accused of players not putting in 100%, while others had the men in black to blame.
To the players and officials, it was a juju (fetish) claim as they found two chicken feet tied together in their dressing room.
“Our next game will be at home against Paidha on the 16th of this month, then we travel away to Express and Maroons and finally round it up with Ndejje at home. We thank God that we are still alive but what we found in our dressing room wasn’t in good faith at all, the club’s communications officer Paul Kulumba noted.
