People power spokesman Joel Ssenyonyi who had been silent since the arrest of events promoter Bajjo who is one of their supporters has revealed they are aware of the issues.
This was after they never came out with a statement or make an appearance at the Special Investigations Unit in Kireka on Monday.
He says they saw how he was arrested and wondered if he is a rebel. But as People Power they have asked people to “kwebereramu” because Bajjo and Abitex decided to organise a People Power marathon and follow the procedures and work with the police.
But police has picked the promoter and so they ask he is arraigned in court. “We are organising a marathon, I don’t see what is wrong. I have asked people to keep calm,” he said.
Meanwhile, the City events promoter was taken to the Special Investigations Unit in Kireka on Monday at mid day where he was questioned over a video shown on his facebook inciting violence.
This was after the police picked him up at the People power marathon press conference on Saturday.
He was brought to SIU at 12pm in handcuffs where he was questioned over the Facebook post asking people to topple the government before 2021 and also warned the army.
Police Spokesman Fred Enanga said they have confirmed he was sober when he made the video and so has to face the law
