Is it not ironical that lately gospel musicians are more serious about their relationships than their church leaders in Uganda? While musicians serenade us with good news songs, some church leaders spend much of their time mocking love and the marriage institution.
Musicians like Herbert Twina, Simon Mirembe and others are all in legal relationships, which is not the case with some pastors including Pastor Wilson Bugembe who is still single and currently not searching.
On Saturday, Ntinda was the place to go for all fans of Isaac Mwesigwa also known as Da Missionary. The celebrated gospel star joined the list when his fiancé, Klyne Namyalo introduced him to her family.
The gospel artiste was taken to Ntinda and introduced to his in-laws in a ceremony that was attended to by fellow musicians, church leaders, media personalities and government officials. Mwesigwa however, originally hails from Kyanja
Da Missionary, real names Isaac Mwesigwa, has for some years been secretly cohabiting with Namyalo, a fresh graduate. However, after her graduation her parents through her auntie told her to bring him home or else the relationship ends according to the Bible literature.
Nonetheless, we are eagerly waiting for the wedding but for now, congratulations are in order for the gospel guru Isaac Mwesigwa.
Mwesigwa is the singer behind hit songs like Kyendi Kyendi, anyonyogera and his latest is titled gwabikolwa. Klyne Namyalo is born to Mr and Ms James Mukasa in Ntinda and Isaac Mwesigwa to Mr and Ms Keith Bossa of Kyanja.
