On Wednesday, Magere in Kyadondo East constituency was the place to go for all supporters, fans, believers and all stakeholders in People power ideology.

Initially when Kyadondo East MP Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu introduced the ideology, it had a big number of followers of who some were even musicians. It was thought the spirit of togetherness would shine forever but yesterday during a press conference at Hon. Sentamu’s home only two musicians were spotted on the yard.

Remember many musicians had vowed to be alongside Ssentamu but the wave of change might have blown their mindset. Who did not see musicians like Aganaga, Hilder Man, Gravity, Lil Pazo to mention but a few promising to be with their mentor wherever he goes and also provide moral support. recently Dr. Chameleone revealed that he is  DP- People power though he didn’t appear at Magere for the ceremony. That is the kind of industry we have comprised of hypocrites.

However, some believe that majority of these musicians are no longer fit to share their experiences with fellow singer Bobi Wine, with some saying that Kyadondo East MP now requires sounding mind politically not musically which is why he has endorsed in much time creating political friendships.

The press conference only saw Nubian Li and Ronald Mayinja. Hon. Ssentamu also revealed why the press conference was held in Magere. He says they had booked and paid a hotel in Kampala and unfortunately security operatives intervened and warned owners of the hotel not to risk and host them. The hotel owner acted accordingly and banned them because of the external pressure.

Among those who bagged themselves big positions in people power include: Medard Ssegona (Kampala metropolitan leader), Hon. Winnie Kiiza (Rwenzori sub regionleader), Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi (Greater Mpigi region leader), Nyanzi Ssentamu Fred (leader informal sector) among others.
