Sunday Vision in partnership with Pepsi, Post bank and Uganda parliament will host the sixth Kampala twins’ festival at Namboole stadium on August, 25th 2019.
With an entrance fee of sh 10k, the event organized to attract multiples of people internationally is a family day out meant to celebrate twins as a gift.
The fun-filled event will create a chat room for people to discuss with older parents on how twins should be nurtured.
“The elder twins will have a confert tent to relax and tell their stories to the rest. Being it that twins resemble and create a confusion on which one a person particularly dates, they will also discuss such difficulties them, ”Penlope Nankunda the twins’ festival coordinator revealed.
Parliament’s communications director Chris Obore revealed how this opportunity will grant parliament representatives time to share development ideas and also share talks on how parliament operates.
Being it that Post Bank is also part of the celebrations. It has organized a red carpet treat for special twins who will open up a bank account at a cost of Sh5,000. It has also prepared a financial clinic where children will be taught how to save.
This year’s twins’ festival offers a unique offering through talent search. This comprises of something special twins can do for themselves.
“All they need to do is post a short video of anything they do and post it on Facebook under a hash tag twin star. They will also have to tag New vision,” Nankunda revealed.
Ten vides with the highest number of likes will stand a chance to win a two million prize.
Twins with the highest number of attending twins’ festivals will also stand a chance to win a prize.
The event will end at 6:00pm.
