Two remanded over Martha Kay’s leaked nudes

The Buganda Road Magistrates Court on Tuesday 13, August remanded a one Herbert Arinaitwe 27 and Farid Mukiibi  34 to Luzira Prison for charges related to leaking Martha Kay’s private photos.

While appearing before the court, the two were put on charges of aggravated robbery and offensive communication under the computer misuse act.

 Arinaitwe and Mukiibi are said to have used a drug called scopolamine which rendered Martha Kay unconscious before they took off with her property that included two mobile phones; Samsung Galaxy S8 gold in color and an iPhone X black in colour.

The suspects were also accused of robbing Martha Kay’s wallet containing her her driving permit, Stanbic bank ATM card, and Shs 400,000 cash between April 10th and 11th in Kampala.

Court heard that after the happening, the suspects, repeatedly used electronic communication, harassed their victim with intentions to place her under reasonable fear for her safety. They also tasked her to part with Shs10m to regain possession of the property they allegedly robbed.

The suspects pleaded not guilty and were remanded to Luzira Prison until the 19th of August.
