Torress Lubega, Bright Anukani, Sam Kintu and Mustafa Mujuzi have earned a maiden call to join the national team in preparation for the Total 2020 CHAN qualifier against Burundi, according to the Proline official Twitter page.

Last week, during the StarTimes Uganda premier league, Proline did not show up at the Mandella National Stadium, Namboole, for a match against SC Villa.

This comes after two players, Mustafa Mujuzi and Brighton Okani, were summoned to the team that featured in Kisangani to play an international friendly against Kenya.

Villa FC players turned up, while Proline FC players were busy at home watching movies, claiming that the ground was unlevelled on their side yet their best defender and midfielder were not around.

Villa demands authorities award them their three points and as many goals as per regulations for a match where an opponent does not show up.

Apparently, Proline have been deducted six points, six goals and sh5m. They have therefore lost the game to SC Villa by penalisation in the StarTimes premier league.

Proline penned to league authorities that they would not honour their fixture against Villa and FUFA refused to reschedule the match claiming that it was a conundrum that FUFA entered FIFAs’ calender on international matches.
