Nigerian gospel star David Ekene set for Kampala performance

Nigerian gospel singer David Daniels Ekene popularly known for his hit gospel song ‘Greater Tomorrow’ will be coming to Kampala at the end of the year. According to Irene Nabossa the brain behind the event says, the children suffering from dysfunction will be present at show since the event is charity –focused and proceedings be offered to them.

“David Ekene will be performing in a charity concert slated for December. The singer will be in town to grace the show, alongside other gospel artistes,” Nabossa noted.  Kampala sun has has learnt that the show will apparently be a fundraiser for kids with Down syndrome, going by the organizer.

She observes that she was touched seeing kids in in this condition, with parents who are in terrible need of help. Thus her bid to assist, by launching a campaign that will help her gather some little money, to be able to construct for them a home. Among the local gurus to feature, the concert will include Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Levixone, Dangelo Busuulwa, Joseph Ngoma, Simon Mirembe, and a dance group.
