Regardless of the side of the political divide you are on, it is hard to ignore Kadongo kamu singer Ronald Mayinja. He is the most talked about artiste for what has been hailed as a brave act.
This is after he performed a rather controversial song titled Bizemu at singer Catherine Kusasira’s show, Tears of a woman on Friday at Kampala Serena Hotel. He says it was a direct message to President Museveni who was in attendance that the terror he fought in the 1980s is back.
People Power pressure group leader and Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Bobi Wine took to his social media page to hail him being “courageous and selfless” at a time when “many Ugandans are putting their careers, safety and comfort ahead of their nation’s redemption.”
However, Bebe Cool illustrated that Mayinja is ungrateful and misleading by comparing the one of the 1980s to the one of today using photos. He wondered what Mayinja would look like today if the terror is really back, but also thanked him for working hard for the life he has today.
