The name Achai Wiir is not new to Ugandan news. The South Sudanese business woman appeared in Ugandan tabloids when she prized singer Jose Chameleon with a new car last year for his outstanding talent.
Since then, Wiir has constantly gained audience among Ugandans. The South Sudanese tycoon has returned to the news for yet another of her generosity aspects. Among her various aspirations, uniting the divided South Sudanese community, seems to top the charts for her, and she has so far provided all available avenues to close this gap.
Last night while at a South Sudanese ball organised in Kampala at Wonder world, she gave away two brand cars to two exemplary South Sudanese who have in different ways exercised unity. Jacob Gai, a visually impaired singer was gifted one of the cars to aid in his artistry works as he spreads the message of unity and love through his art while Afro Beat singer King Forest too walked away with the other for his non segregative behavior.
The ball attracted the majority of the Soutg Sudanese community in Uganda and overflowed with onlookers and well-wishers altogether.
