Uganda travel month launched

That time to enjoy parte after parte in the wild is back. Starting this weekend, fun lovers are to enjoy Uganda Travel Month 2019 following the launch at Prunes Kololo on Tuesday.

The four week circuit of memorable trips that will take groups out into the wild at discounted fees has Chobe at the forefront. Found in Murchison Falls National Park, this five star lodge is a gem in Uganda’s crown of tourism destinations.

The breathtaking panoramic views, coupled with the sounds of the River Nile’s magnificent rapids, sets the scene for an adventure that will impress even the most discerning of visitors including American celebrity couple of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian who stayed there for a week.

Next on the menu is the October 5 trip to Brovad Ssese, a two day and night affair. Unlike the rest, this one will see revelers enjoy a boat cruise to Ssese islands along Lake Victoria and kill Kampala stress on white sand beaches with activities such as quad biking, cycling among others.

The third outing on October 11 is a two in one package of Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth national parks. This three day adventure will start with a drive through Lake Mburo park, then head to Queen Elizabeth national park for another pure safari experience with a chance to spot the tree climbing lions, crater lakes and a memorable Kazinga Channel boat cruise.

The finale will be Murchison Falls on October 18. With proposals to build a dam at the falls that descend through a 45m wall through an 8m wide gorge, this might be the last time to experience the majesty and thunderous roar of the waters before it continues with its course on the Victoria Nile.
