President Museveni has had a long standing relationship with music.

With a repertoire of good songs notably Mpenkoni (Another rap), Museveni last month announced he was setting up a new recording studio which would be open to the public for business.

Located next to Lubiri S.S along Masaka road, TSF Studios was fully funded by President Museveni in an effort to help mostly up-and-coming musicians record music and elevate their talents for as cheap as Sh10,000.

On Friday, the president’s new journey to a fully-fledged musician was endorsed when he paid up his subscription to the Uganda Musicians Association.  Museveni paid sh50,000 for an identity card and subscription .

The Uganda Musicians Association committee is led by Sophie Gombya with Ykee Benda the Vice President. Capt. Mike Mukula is the patron of the association.
