Armed Forces Motocross Championship kicks off at Busiika

The Armed Forces Appreciation Motocross Championship started this afternoon at Uganda Motocross Arena Busiika.
The heavy rains have made the track more challenging, but the riders are ready for the showdown on Sunday in the three heats.
Riders from Germany, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, USA, Spain, Belgium, South Africa and hosts Uganda will be competing in an event whose proceeds will go to the renovation of schools and hospitals of the men and women who carry the guns and keep peace in this country.
“Yes the rains are heavy but we are ready to give the fans the best because the slippery track is part of the sport,” former Kenya Motocross team captain Shivam Vinayak said.
Veteran rider Wycliffe Bukenya said that he will be out to show the fans what he used to do best during the 70s and 80s and he will be competing in the Veterans or Masters class.
